As Perth’s only revolving restaurant, C-Restaurant sits proudly in the middle of the CBD and is popular with locals and visitors alike.
I was approached, by my colleagues at 2getherstudios, with whom I work very closely on many projects, to provide the ‘story’ content for a very different cookbook for their restaurant client.
Each recipe in the book used specific ingredients that were all locally sourced. Risotto with truffles from Manjimup, a seafood speciality served with mouth-watering Marrons, juicy Margaret River -raised wagyu beef steaks etc. I researched each of the recipes and the locations for their local ingredients.
The result was a cookbook that doubled as a gastronomic vacation across Western Australia. The book, published in 2013, is a popular souvenir and memento for diners to remember their C-Restaurant experience and has all the ingredients to become a ‘best seller’!
