Lisa Evans is a very courageous woman who has an incredible story to tell and she came to me to help me get it told. Lisa Evans’ rewarding career as a neonatal intensive care midwife was cut short by a devastating illness that robbed her of her ability to hear. Through the gift of a cochlear implant and driven by a fierce desire to overcome adversity, she re-invented herself as the ‘Story Midwife’ – a passionate public speaking and storytelling coach who now helps people use their voices to tell their stories to audiences worldwide.

 

This is a book from which I derived great pleasure helping Lisa compile and write. It’s the sort of inspirational story I love being able to tell.
